  6. Its  now  again  a  The Party and its
  7. time  to summon up whats happened the
  8. last  year.   I think we can count in
  9. The  Party  92  as a part of the year
  10. 1993, because it feels like The Party
  11. is the beginning of a new year on the
  12. scene.   Okay  lets  go  back to that
  13. very   party  in  late  december  92.
  14. Almost  evrybody who counts was there
  15. makng   it   the   biggest  party  in
  16. history,  yet!   And  there were some
  17. really   great  releases.   Andromeda
  18. released   their   musicdisk   called
  19. "Mirror".   Anarchy released the last
  20. issue of "Stolen Data".  PMC released
  21. RAW  4.5.  There were also some other
  22. releases  from  Razor  1911, Noxious,
  23. Amnesia  and more that didnt compete.
  24. But  in  the  competitions there were
  25. also  great  releases as State of the
  26. Art by Spaceballs which won the whole
  27. contest  and  3D-demo  II by Anarchy.
  28. After that party the winter came with
  29. some releases and we were all waiting
  30. for   The   Gathering  1993.   (Sadly
  31. enough   I   wasnt   there,   I   was
  32. travelling home from Russia then with
  33. a   lot   of   vodka(too  much  if  a
  34. customsofficer   would  have  checked
  35. me..)) Anyway there it was some great
  36. releases  like "Mobile" by Spaceballs
  37. and   the  great  "Desert  Dream"  by
  38. Kefrens  which  won  the whole compo.
  39. The  weeks rolled by after that party
  40. and we ended all up in Gothenburg for
  41. the  TCC-93  (at  least  1500  of us)
  42. where  some  great demos was released
  43. ¶like  How  to  skin  a  cat, Dane and
  44. Illusion.  During the summer not much
  45. was  released  until the Assembly and
  46. ECC   partys  where  we  saw  242  by
  47. Virtual  Dreams,  Extension  by Pygmy
  48. Projects  and  Aquarium by CnCd.  Now
  49. the  year  was  a  long  wait for the
  50. Party  III,  but some people released
  51. their  products anyway, like ASS from
  52. Essence,  Groovy from Lemon.  and Pha
  53. Q by Scoopex.
